Athletic Club Boise Crew
This is the Athletic Club Boise Crew. We are a supporter group of the AC Boise football team. We’re excited to finally have a club of our own here in Boise. Our city has a long standing football history that most people don’t know about. The world is about to see our fervor, passion and commitment to our team.
How it Started
A couple friends and I were talking about starting our own supporter group for AC Boise. I was thinking of some ideas for the group name when I saw the similarities between the ACDC and AC Boise logos. Being a graphic designer, I took it upon myself to put them together and create the Athletic Club Boise Crew identity (ACBC). I showed it to a small group of people and they loved it.
I got the first run of shirts printed and our small crew wore them to the first away game at Liga in downtown Boise. Liga was packed for the first AC Boise match. Total strangers would come up to me and my friends saying how much they liked the design. I brought more shirts with me in my car and I kept going out to my trunk to bring in shirts to other fans. I began to realize that I had something big and it has exploded from there.
Where We’re Headed
Our team has come out of the gates swinging and we couldn’t be happier. Even if the team wasn’t good, we’d still support them. This is bigger then just football. This is our community and our city. We love this game and our team. AC Boise has really done a great job for a brand new team. Now it’s our turn to support them.
ACBC will continue to support AC Boise. We are a supporter group, period. I want to create more cool shit for supporters to wear. We will continue to be loud and ruckus in the stands! We’re still figuring it out and we’re having fun making it up as we go along. Let’s go AC Boise!
